Description
Solicitation (W91B4N-10-R-5019) JNCC-A (TTSB) IT SME Requirement The Bagram Regional Contracting Center (BRCC) has a requirement for highly qualified civilian contractor subject matter experts (SME). The SMEs will work within the Joint Network Control Center - Afghanistan (JNCC-A), as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), in a deployed operational environment side-by-side with military personnel within their respective area of expertise. The requirements described within the PWS may be utilized in other areas of the organization and potentially at other locations within the Combined Joint Operating Area (CJOA), although the primary work location shall be located at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Additional Information The anticipated contract type is Firm-Fixed Price. The anticipted Contract will be for a basic period of twelve (12) months with one (1) one-year option period with a planned start date of 31 July 2010 (subject to change). Questions can be forwarded from Notice publication to July 3, 2010. No questions will be answered after the specified date and time. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541513, Computer Facilities Management Services. The successful contractor will be selected utilizing lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. If the lowest priced proposal is acceptable, other offerors will not be reviewed. If it is not acceptable, the next lowest priced offer will be reviewed, et seq. To be found technically acceptable the offer must meet all of the criteria identified in the Solicitation. This requirement is solicited under FAR Part 12 utilizing commercial acquisition procedures. The Solicitation MUST be downloaded from Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov. Do not request via fax or mail. No paper copies will be issued. It's solely incumbent upon prospective vendors to review this Notice for updates/amendments that may be published. Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (www.ccr.gov).
