- REMODEL THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM AT GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL CEMETERY, 1300 SNEATH LANE, SAN BRUNO, CA 94066 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-10-IB-0116 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to Remodel the Kitchen and Bathroom at Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA 94066 in accordance with the project statement of work, drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Work includes the following: a.Contractor shall demolish and remove five existing cabinets, counters, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and install all new of the same. b.Demolition: All material removed shall be disposed of by the Contractor at the contractor's expense. c.Contractor must hold a State Contractors License and have worked in the field for a minimum of five (5) years. Provide three references on work performed over the past two years. d.All work will be coordinated with Contracting Officer's Technical Representative. Work will be conducted in such a manner to minimize the impact on the Cemetery operations. e.Thoroughly clean up work area at end of day's work and at completion of project. Leave premises clean and free of waste, scrap, used equipment, or other material intentionally or incidentally delivered to the site by Contractor or Contractor's personnel. f.Site work will be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 90 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 23890 SIZE STANDARD: $14.0 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible service disabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on July 8, 2010. The last date that questions will be accepted for this solicitation will be Close of Business, Thursday, July 22, 2010.
