Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This notice is being posted as a Request for Quotations for Purchase Request F3RTCL0147A002. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Hub Zone businesses. The NAICS code for the requirement is 517410. The size standard for this NAICS code is 750 Employees. ASC Signal 4LPNC-39T, or Equal Description: 4-PORT LINEAR POLARIZED NARROW C-BAND Tx/Rx 3.9M TRIFOLD FEED SYSTEM Includes: Feed Horn, Feed Support, Combiner, Waveguide, Resolver, Motor Pol Drive Operating Frequency Requirement: 3.625 # 4.200 GHz Receive 5.850 # 6.425 GHz Transmit Compatibility Requirement: 4 port C band Linear polarized feed system ASC signal model 4LPNC-39T for ASC signal transportable 3.9M low profile quad band (C,X, Ku and Ka bands) antenna model ESA39KAAPT-1. Feed system must include feed horn, combiner, resolver and motorized polarization drive. Must have 2 transmit ports with a minimum frequency range of 5.850-6.425 GHZ, each with a CPR137g waveguide flange. Must have 2 receive ports with a minimum frequency range of 3.625 - 4.2GHz and a CPR229G waveguide flange Isolation Requirement: Transmit Band - TX/ RX 85dB min, TX / TX 35dB min Receive Band - RX / TX 75dB min, RX / RX 35dB min Cross-pol discrimination: RX1 / RX2 35dB min (Receive band) TX1 / TX2 35dB min (Transmit band) The feed system must be completely compatible with the ASC Signal VS-3 antenna control interface and the Research Concepts RC3000D antenna controller The attachment is a list of all items listed above to allow for a user-friendly list of items when providing quotes. Offer/quote should include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. Delivery is due 30 days after date of award. FOB point is Destination (Schriever AFB, CO 80912). The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: price and technical acceptability. Responding contractors shall include quotations and descriptive literature with their response to allow the government to make a complete evaluation and appraisal of the offering with respect to the requirements set forth in this combined synopsis solicitation.
