- Description
- The Project provides construction of new Navy Family Housing units at Naval Base Guantanamo Bay for the areas shown below. In addition the renovation and upgrading of the Navy Fitness Center at Naval Base Guantanamo Bay is included in CLIN 0002. Description of the work required is as follows: CLIN 0001 Base Item - Projects H-541, H-543 & H-544, New Construction Various locations, willconsist of providing one hundred forty-six (146) Family housing units. The GTMO Housing project shallconsist of six (6) two bedroom multi family units for E1-E6, eighty-six (86) three bedroom multifamily units for E1-E6, thirty-seven (37) single family units for E7-E9, eight (8) single family units forW1-O3 and nine (9) single family units for O4-O5, complete and ready for use in accordance with Part 3of the specification. Units shall be provided at the Villamar site. The eight (8) W1-O3 houses and the nine(9) O4-O5 houses shall be located at the Radio Point site. No housing units will be demolished for thisCLIN. CLIN 0002 Base Item - P-535 Renovate Consolidated Fitness Complex will consist of constructing an addition to the existing fitness center in accordance with the specification, complete and ready for use. The project will demolish work out centers M203 and M217 and will conform to Anti-Terrorism/ForceProtection (ATFP) Standards.
