- Description
- The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration has a requirement for WebZerve Software services. The DOL intends to use the services of Scientific Systems & Software International Corporation (SSSI), who is the only known responsible source that can meet the DOL requirements. Justification and Approval of Sole Source is cited in 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) "only one responsible source." The requirement can be satisfied by only one responsible source. No other product or service will satisfy the needs of the agency. SSSI is the only vendor that provides this software. The software is used to monitor Web page content activity. ETA currently uses this software. SSSI's WebZerve Software monitors and provides audit trails for content change requests for ETA Web pages. It also incorporates quality control review as a standalone option or incorporated into the content management system. This tool provides accountability and quality assurance for our high profile Web environment. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. local, on 06/23/2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
