Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Geology Center has a requirement for lease of research vessels of various Class Ranges to meet the needs of its marine research cruises along the East Coast of the United States and in the Gulf of Mexico. The period of performance for this requirement will be from date of award through 12 months (base year) with four option years. This procurement is being conducted under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items of FAR 13.5. The types of contract will be Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) with fair opportunity task orders for individual cruises to be completed among the contractors. RFQ10ERQQ0223 will be issued on or about June 22, 2010. The NAICS code is 483114. The anticipated award date of the contract is July 30, 2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency via email to: tcrawford@usgs.gov. The submission for questions are due Wednesday, June 30, 2010 by 3:30PM, (EST) and responses will be sent via email to the interested vendors on or about Friday, July 9, 2010. Proposal submission are due July 15, 2010. The RFQ may be viewed on the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
