- RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SIKU CONSTRUCTION, 6700 ARCTIC SPUR ROAD, ANCHORAGE, AK, 99518, UNDER CONTRACT WC133W-10-CN-0016, DESIGN-BUILD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STAFF HOUSING AT BARROW, ALASKA, AS A MODIFICATION ISSUED UNDER THE CONTRACT. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) posts this notice of intent to issue a firm-fixed price modification against Contract Number WC133W-10-CN-0016 with SIKU Construction of Anchorage, AK for the following upgrades at the NWS Staff Housing at Barrow, Alaska. 1) Upgrade from electric to gas range; 2) Upgrade from electric to gas dryer; 3) Install shower stalls in 3 bedroom houses; 4) Install under counter fixtures; and 5) Install mini blinds. This notice is for full disclosure compliance and announcement of potential subcontracting opportunities only.
