- RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SHAUGHNESSY, FICKEL AND SCOTT ARCHITECT, 1150 GRAND BOULEVARD, STE 400, KANSAS CITY, MO 64106, UNDER CONTRACT WC1330-07-CQ-0065, AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) ARCHITECT-ENGINEER MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT FOR MISCELLANEOUS PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICE, AS A NEW TASK ORDER UNDER THE CONTRACT. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) posts this notice of intent to issue a firm-fixed price follow-on task order against Contract Number WC1330-07-CQ-0065 with Shaughnessy, Fickel and Scott Architect of Kansas City, MO, for the Nome Housing Engineering services during Design-Build, National Weather Service (NWS), Nome, Alaska. This Task Order is being awarded under the exception to fair opportunity authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505(b)(2)(iii) which allows for an order on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency when the order is a logical follow-on. This notice is for full disclosure compliance and announcement of potential subcontracting opportunities only.
