- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the (14) riser pipe grade control structures and one (1) rock chute grade control structure in Chickasaw and Webster Counties, Mississippi. Principle features of work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, pipe fill, embankment, control of water, engineering fabric, stone protection, corrugated metal pipe, topsoil, fertilizing, seeding and mulching, lime treatment, welding, concrete work, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 9 July 2010. Bid Opening date and time: 10 Aug 2010, 1430 hours.
