- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF "KESWICK AREA RAIL TRAIL PAVING". THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) (RECOVERY ACT) OF 2009. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for the construction of approximately 6.6 miles of two segments of rail trial complete with shoulder backing and striping.One three inch lift of hot asphalt. Concrete will be placed and compacted to a width of eight feet over the entire lengths of the existing trail segments. Location: Shasta County, CA. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a standard size of $33.5M. The cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.The anticipated period of performance is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition will be advertised as a HubZone set-aside under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The HUBZone preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies.
