- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a solicitation for print mail services. SSA is seeking a Contractor to provide all necessary materials, services, and supplies to support the print mail operation. Services will be performed at the SSA Headquarters complex in Woodlawn, MD. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed type contract with a two (2) month phase in period, ten (10) month base year, and four (4) one-year options. This requirement is being conducted under FAR part 12, Commercial Items. This requirement is being set aside 100% for Small Business Administration qualified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HubZone) small business concerns (SBC). The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) and size standard are 323119 and $ 500 million. Request for Proposals, number SSA-RFP-11-1002 is scheduled for release on or about July 14, 2010 and will be available for downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov and/or www.fedconnect.net for all qualified parties. There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference held for this requirement and all prospective offerors are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-proposal conference will be included in the solicitation package. No telephone requests for additional information will be honored prior to the posting of the solicitation.
