- On or about July 6, 2010, the National Park Service intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) under solicitation number I1543100099, to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish and install fuel dispensers at two National Park locations. The solicitation closing date will be on or about August 9, 2010. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Responses to this synopsis are not required. A Site Visit will be scheduled after the solicitation is issued. The official solicitation will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. This project is being processed in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. The NAICS code is 238290. The Small Business Size Standard is $14 million. Davis Bacon Wage Determinations will apply. The Scope of Work under this contract includes but is not limited to, furnishing and installing four new individual fleet fueling pumps, two suitable for diesel fuel and two for gasoline. Work includes new electrical wiring if necessary for new pumps, new pulse outputs, meters, controls, components and all required fittings, piping and connections to the existing fuel tanks and or existing supply lines. All hoses, breakaway fittings and nozzles for the vehicle dispensing side of the new pumps will also be replaced with new. Locations: South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park: (315 2nd Avenue) Medora, ND 58645. North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park: (207 Maintenance Way) Watford City, ND 58854. IAW FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is Less than $25,000. No bonds are required for this project. This procurement will be conducted using the Sealed Bidding procedures and award shall be made to the responsive responsible bidder with the lowest price.
