- The Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) at Tripler AMC, Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price, non-personal service contract for tissue & blood analysis services. This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 August 2010 through 30 September 2010. (Base and 4 Option Periods). Required services include but are not limited to: 1) Providing instructions and mechanism for proper shipping and handling of the specimens so as to not jeopardize the integrity of the samples. 2) Receiving and logging blood/tissue samples and weights. Sample tissues to include (but not limited to) skin, muscle, brain, heart, lung, stomach, spleen, liver, pancreas, kidney, intestine; sample weight to range from 0.1 - less than 3 grams and from 3-10 grams. (Microsphere employed for blood flow determination shall be NuFlow Fluorescent microspheres) 3) Provide data in the form of graphs reflecting relative blood flow in different organ vascular beds and differences between sampling time points. Raw data and calculated data shall be provided in the form of tables. All equations used for calculations will be provided along with the data summary statements. 4) Provide accurate and timely data on the samples that have been provided. Provide summary of microspheres analysis and blood flow to tissues. A hard copy of the reports and Excel file shall be delivered within 15 days of receiving 1 set of samples. The proposed acquisition will be a total small business set-aside. This solicitation package will be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/)on or about 24 June 2010.
