- Description
- The intent of this contract is to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to replace windows and siding at the Main Office at the McCloud Ranger Station. In addition to this work, there are two options to the contract, either one or both of which may be awarded at anytime during the contract performance. The options are to replace windows and siding on McCloud Barracks #1032 and to replace windows and siding on McCloud Barracks #1034. The work shall include, but not limited to, the removal and disposal of existing windows; caulking, moist stopping and sealing; installing building wrap, installing new windows, installing siding and trim, caulking all siding joints and the like and all other work and incidentals necessary for complete, waterproof/weather-tight window and siding installation. Exterior painting is not part of this contract. PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located at the McCloud Ranger Station, Shasta Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. From Highway 5 head east on Highway 89 to the town of McCloud, California. The project is located at the McCloud Ranger Station on the East side of town, just off Highway 89. This is an RFQ unrestricted under the Competitive Demonstration Program. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date: August 15, 2010. CONTRACT TIME: 120 calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-bid tour will not be held. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is not required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about July 7, 2010. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
