- This synopsis is being issued under FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and for rehabilitating the existing drainage structure at Sta. 45+03 of Calion Protection Works Levee System in Union County, Arkansas. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, removal and disposal of existing CMP, removal and disposal of existing reinforced concrete inlet structure, removal, and disposal of existing inlet channel stone protection, excavation, fill, backfill, embankment, pervious fill, pervious backfill, clay blanket, CLSM, miscellaneous items, control of water, stone protection items, concrete pressure pipe, erosion control, corrugated steel sheeting, reinforced concrete work, reinforcement, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $100,000 and $500,000. Plans and specifications will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 30 June 2010. Bid Opening date and time: 13 July 2010, 1400 hours. This procurement is Unrestricted and issued under NAICS Code 237990, FSC Code Y299, for a firm fixed price Contract. Funds are not currently available for this acquisition.
