- This publication serves as notice of intent to procure supplies for the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service, located in Seattle, WA 98112 on a sole source basis with NW Motion Products, LLC. The government intends to acquire services using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposed vendor shall supply the following NW Motion Products: Item#28-0042 5 hp Brushless DC Motor rated for 6000 m Item# 28-0041 10 hp Brushless DC Motor rated 6000 m Item#28-0055 Motor Drive Assy, Thuster Item#28-0072 Motor Drive Assy, HPU Item#22-0276 Capacitor Assy Item#22-0277 Brake Actuator Inrush PCB Assy Item#71-0017 DC Bus Inductor 75 uH These parts shall be fabricated using direct compatible components to the existing submersible 5 HP and 10 Hp motors and motor parts the government already owns. All components must be built to the latest specifications and modifications that have been implemented on the existing components. NW Motion Products, LLC has the knowledge of what was supplied to the government in the past and has historical knowledge required to implement the design modifications that have been made to the existing components. NW Motion Products, LLC has the capability to provide direct plug and play replacement of the existing components that will also provide for the interchangeability of any and all individual components should a need arise. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with delivery date of no later than Aug 25, 2010. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336999 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. This notice represents the only official notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all submittals received by the due set forth in this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a simplified acquisition estimated value not to exceed $100,000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
