- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0457 on or about July 6, 2010, for the RECOVERY Bulletin Boards for the Clearwater National Forest Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after July 6, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201, however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The work includes furnishing approximately 135 48" x 48" routed cedar bulletin boards with various headers and footers, with some including the USFS shield and logo. Panesl to be painted brown, front and back, with cream color routed lettering. Alll signs to be manufactured in accordance with USFS sign Manual, EM-7100-15 and delivered f.o.b. Clearwater National Forest, Orofino, ID. PARTICIPATION. This project is a cascading set-aside for HUBZone Small Business Concerns and then Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 339950. The small business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. FOR MORE INFORMATION.
