- Description
- DSCP is issuing a Bridge Contract for the Wood Products for the Hawaii/Guam Region. Subject contract is for twelve months and twelve days to provide for the purchase of wood products, such as softwood lumber, hardwood lumber, plywood/veneer, preservative treated lumber, poles, pilings, crossarms, ties, dowels, plugs, stakes, doors, and moldings to support military customers in the Hawaii/Guam region. The Estimated Demand is $600,000.00. The maximum dollar value for this proposed contract is $3,000,000. For administrative purposes, the proposed bridge contract will use the same numbers as the current contract and will contain the same terms and conditions. The contract numbers are SPM500-05-D-BP21/SPM5E406D0254. Two contract numbers are utilized to prevent duplication of delivery order numbers as both system-processed (mechanized) orders and manual orders are issued. The effective period of the proposed bridge contract will be from June 24, 2010 through July 5, 2011. Should a competitively-awarded contract be issued ahead of the projected timeframe and the guaranteed minimum of $100,000 met, this bridge contact will be terminated. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Subject Bridge Contract is being awarded under Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
