Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.This is a synopsis for non-commercial items. NAICS Code 332710. The solicitation will be issued on June 30, 2010. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-10-Q-3379. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: 1.MX-10624 High Frequency Sounder Window QTY 16 EA PER DWG 7634168. 2. MX-12313 TR-302 Transducer Hull Window QTY 20 EA Per DWG 7333368. 3. MX-12352 ACOMMS Window QTY 5 SETS PER DWG 7335217. Statement of Work and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) will be released with the solicitation. Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI and Naval Weapons Station Cheatham Annex Williamsburg, VA per Statement of Work. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is 500. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. FAR 52.213-4--Terms and Conditions-Simplified Acquisitions (Other Than Commercial Items). Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies. Offers must be received by 2:00 p.m. on July 19, 2010. Offers received after this date are late and will not be considered for award. To receive a copy of the drawing, a company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) managed for Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, MI as evidenced by a JCP Certification number in the Business Identification Number Cross-reference System (BINCS).
