Description
The Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality ContractingCenter, Joint Armaments Center, on behalf of the US Army Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Weapon Systems and Technology Directorate, Indirect Fire Armaments Division,Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is contemplating award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). Interested sources should possess the following capabilities: Capable of providing engineering services to develop reliable dynamic response curves for polyethylene (PE) foam while at extreme temperatures;Conduct impact testing on PE foam produced from a number of high volume manufactures; Samples of various foam types as classified in A-A-59136 (equivalent to 2lb, 4lb, 7lb and 9lb PE foam) and thicknesses shall be tested at +160*F and -65*F; Generate data (i.e. g-force reduction after first and multiple drops) and dynamic response curves similar to those found in A-A-59136; Generate formulas to predict response for specific design conditions; and provide project reports. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, information pertaining to experience on previous contracts for similar supplies/services and other technical data. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity; large or small business. Please provide name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements as a result of this notice. The Government will accept written questions by email only. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following point of contact: US Army Contracting Command, Attn. Pamela Penaherrera, CCJM-JA, Bldg. 10, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000, email pam.penaherrera@us.army.mil. The Government will not be issuing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) because this is a Blanket Purchase Agreement. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice.
