- Description: The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of SBA certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business firms in NAICS Code 236220 for projects RKMF 10-0085 & RKMF 10-0086, Repair/Renovate Buildings 10203 & 10204. Project Description: Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all else necessary to repair/renovate new restrooms, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, fire protection, communications systems, new interior finishes, exterior repair and site work that includes new sidewalks and utility connections throughout both buildings. Building 10203 is a two-story wood frame and stucco structure that has approximately 11,370 SF on each floor for a total of 22,740 SF above ground to include an 11,370 SF concrete basement. Large portions of the facility will be constructed to meet "open storage" security classification. Additionally, a portion of the basement will be renovated to become a secured area meeting requirements of Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/9, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). Building 10204 is a one-story wood frame and stucco structure with concrete slab on grade and has approximately 3,350 SF. Facility has one large auditorium with a sloped concrete floor and 185 seats and various support spaces. This facility will be constructed to meet "open storage" security classification as well as a entrance canopy. Both buildings are located next to each other in Area II of Nellis AFB, Nevada. Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Response: Response is solicited from SBA certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business firms. Firms are considered small if their average annual receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years were less than or equal to $33.5 Million. Any information submitted is voluntary. If sufficient interest and capability is not received from SBA certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business firms to determine that award of this project can be made at a fair market price, the solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. Request interested firms (regardless of size) submit the following information: 1. NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER of the firm (include CAGE code). 2. CAPABILITY STATEMENT (include following information in statement) a. RECENT Performance History (within the last three (3) fiscal years) b. RELEVANT Performance History (similar projects of this type): i. Identify the name of the project owner and their point(s) of contact with telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses ii. In what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor, etc.) was work performed. c. PERCENT OF WORK firm can commit to accomplishing with in-house labor (not subcontracted) if awarded the contract. This is NOT a request for proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov) and no paper copies will be provided.
