- Description
- The contractor shall perform Weapon Training System (WTS) design, installation and test in accordance with OD 36763 (Rev 4 dated Jan 15, 2004) to support the delivery of a MK 98 MOD 6 Fire Control System (FCS) 944 Rev 01 baseline compatibility update to the Weapon Training System (WTS) at the TRIDENT Training Facility (TTF) at Kings Bay, GA and Bangor, Washington. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
