- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Dix Corporation, W912BV-10-C-1013 As part of Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, modification has been issued to Dix Corporation, to perform the following work: The intake structure shall be analyzed and rated to determine the capacity available to support the working of the truck mounted crane. The crane loads shall be determined and shall not exceed the capacity of the deck, nor its supporting structure. Capacity shall be determined in accordance with Americian Association of State Highway Transportation Officials Standard Specifications. Working crane loads shall clearly state hook load, rigging, and any other loads not included in the structural weight of the crane and its truck (carrier). Rolling crane loads shall not exceed the capacity of the intake structure. A placement procedure, for the crane, shall be provided to detail and limit the loads on the on the deck of the intake structure.
