- The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.501 to Thermwood Corporation, 904 Buffaloville Rd, Dale, IN 47523-9057. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The ERDC Directorate of Public Works has a requirement to use Thermwood Corporation to repair the Computer Numerically Control (CNC) Router that is being leased through Phillips Corps and manufactured by the Thermwood Corporation. Thermwood being the manufacturer of that router is the only company that has the available supplies and knowledge to make the needed repairs. In addition, because this router is leased, Thermwood is the only company that can make the repair without voiding the lease agreement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Clare.Huntley@usace.army.mil with solicitation number referenced in subject line no later than, no later than 4:00PM CST on June 18, 2010.
