Description
The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Contract, for all work associated with the design, fabrication, and delivery of Air Traffic Control Tower Shades for Concord ATCT and Monterey ATCT in Concord and Monterey California. The solicitation will be issued on a small business set-aside status classification all vendors must meet small business classification for consideration for award. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Fabrication and installation of transparent plastic window shades for use in Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) cabs. Shades shall be installed on all exposures of the cab as specified in individual orders. Manufacturer shall be a recognized producer of transparent plastic window shades for the previous 10 years. All shades must be manufactured per ISO 9000 SPEC, Vendor's must have and be able to meet the current FAA recognized SPEC. (no exceptions will be allowed). Fabrication and installation of transparent plastic window shades for use in Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) cabs, Shades shall be installed on all exposures of the cab as specified in individual orders. All shades must be site specific, requiring each window to be measured, inspected for new hardware and any needed repairs. Shades will be manufactured at the vendor's site, packaged individually to prevent damage in shipping, and shipped to their specified installer (FAA will not accept delivery). Installer shall be pre-approved by the contracting officer and site manager. No off the shelf cut to fit shades will be acceptable The estimated dollar value is between: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 Any questions or requests shall be directed to Peggy Cuddie at Peggy.Cuddie@faa.gov.
