- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT JUNE 14, 2010. The work consists of a two-story wood structure with a total of 9,094 gross square feet. Included in the building are offices, open office areas, conference room, restrooms, a lobby, and other support spaces. The building will be Type 5 construction with no sprinkler system. The structural system includes traditional spread footings, plywood sheathed shearwalls, open web wood joists for the 2nd floor, and preengineered wood plate trusses for the roof. Mechanical system is based on small high efficiency heat pumps for various zones of the building. Electrical systems will include 800 amp service, fire alarm, security system and data/telecom. Project will also have associated site improvements which will include walkways, landscaping and an asphalt parking lot. The Government's estimate for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
