The notional Power Supply (PS) should provide the following capabilities at a minimum: Sufficiently durable to operate in semi-controlled environmental conditions. It is required that the PS operates with input power of 103-126.5 Volts AC, and AC frequency input of 47-63 Hertz. Power output must be continuous between 0 and 32 volts DC and 0 to 25 amps. A draft Performance Specification is attached. Vendors with power supplies that meet or exceed the Performance Specification are requested to provide information on their equipment. Vendor comments concerning or to improve the Performance Specification are requested. The Governments seeks to ascertain the degree to which the requirements can be met with current or planned products, the developmental or production ready status of products, and whether products are available via Federal Supply Schedules (GSA Advantage). This data will help the Government shape its acquisition strategy for this capability. The Government would like the following questions and information addressed for your products:Temperature coefficientOutput noise peak-peakLine drop compensationHow does your product handle large amounts of dust?Can dust be blown out of your product? Environmental durability your product can handleIf a commercial transit case is available, provide information about it. NOTE: 3.1.8 - Width dimension shall be no wider than 8.5" and depth shall be less than 18.6". This sources-sought / Request For Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire follow-on acquisitions. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this RFI and Government use of such information. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be part of this effort. If so included, clearly mark such restricted or proprietary data and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary information. Responses to this RFI shall be appropriately labeled with the RFI number and title and provided via compact disc and/or hardcopy due to E-Mail data volume limitations.
