- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Procurement Office: Mission & Installation Command Contracting Center, Fort Knox, Bldg 1109B, STE 250, 199 6th Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121 Response Date: June 15, 2PM: EDT The Mission & Installation Command Contracting Center (MICC) intends to award on a sole-sourced basis a contract to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA): Orange County for Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) training for 210 cadets/24 cadre 16-20 June and 207 Cadets/27 Cadre 22-27 June. Facility must be able to provide lodging, training facilities and meals. Market research has demonstrated that the BSA is the single facility that can meet the governments requirement for the required dates. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the MICCs requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by June 15 by 2pm EST. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to mary.halterman@us.army.mil by 2pm local time, Fort Knox, Kentucky (EST) on June 15, 2010. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at www.ccr.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR part 4.11.
