- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) for the Co-Sponsorship to research and manage the International Best Management Practices Database (BMP). WERF will direct and maintain the operating database clearinghouse and web page in addition to conducting analysis of the BMP data that will be collected for further research by WERF. WERF will also provide a technical publication series that will summarize the data sets available in the BMP database with regard to summarizing the topics, conclusions and findings that can be drawn based on the data collected from the BMP database. Because WERF developed the BMP database program and has the expertise and required knowledge for the research project they are considered the only source for the services. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is June 28, 2010.
