- RECOVERY ACTION--THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING SOURCES FROM CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA SCHEDULES In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, the Department of Energy (DOE) posts this sources sought notice. This announcement is part of market research and responses are sought to identify sources that have the experience and capability to perform the positions listed below. Sources will be sought from approved GSA schedule contractors on the GSA electronic library at www.gsalibrary.gsa.gov. PROJECT INFORMATION: In accordance with FAR Part 8.4 DOE envisions awarding a labor hour task orders against an existing GSA schedule contracts for two (2) Field Engineers to assist DOE Facility Representatives/Operations Division Directors with oversight of operations and field work associated with ARRA projects. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about June 18, 2010. The anticipated period of performance will be from date of award to September 30, 2011. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. While a future Request for Quote is anticipated, it is not guaranteed. Responses to this market survey must be received via e-mail no later than 5 days after issuance of this notice and not exceed 10 pages. Future information regarding this procurement will be posted via GSA Ebuy. It is the responsibility of the responders to monitor this site for future information regarding this procurement.
