- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation to obtain a Firm Fixed Price contract for two (2) Prototype F-15 Nose Landing Gear (NLG) alignment fixtures (NSN 4920-01-293-0208). Also required are incidental reverse engineering services to develop a technical data package to support future procurement actions. The government requires delivery on or before 12 months from date of contract. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit SOLE SOURCE to Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The reason for sole source acquisition to MERC is proprietary rights to CAD data that the Government does not own. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
