- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): R&D Maintenance Services, Inc W91278-09-C-0020, Operation & Maintenance of Government Owned Facilities & Equip This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded Modification P00022 against their Cost Plus Award Fee Contract W91278-09-C-0020. The contractor will supply the required Floating Plant to include tow boat and 300 ton crane and barge to support lock closure on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway and Black Warror and Tombigbee system. Modification P00022 is fully funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The total funding for this requirement will be done via two contract modifications. As stated P00022 is funded by ARRA and the mod to follow will be funded with regular Operation and Maintenance funds. The total cost of this requirement is $425,603.80. Of said amount, $285,000.00 is ARRA funding.
