- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine interest in a proposed procurement entitled Facilities Support Services, Bahrain. The work will be performed at the Naval Support Activity (Juffair, Bahrain), Mina Salman Pier (Mina Salman, Bahrain), Aviation Unit (Muhhraq, Bahrain), and Isa Air Base, Bahrain. The type of contract anticipated will be firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with both scheduled and unscheduled facilities support services. The project includes furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the following services: janitorial; grounds maintenance; landscaping; refuse collection and disposal; pest control; AC maintenance; chiller water system maintenance; maintenance of emergency generators and automatic transfer systems; fire! protection and fire alarm systems; swimming pool maintenance; vertical transportation equipment; maintenance of HV and LV electrical power transmission and distribution systems; operation and maintenance of four reverse osmosis plants; shuttle bus service; security operations including entry control point operations; and equipment rental. The period of performance shall be a base period of twelve months and four twelve month option period not to exceed a total of 60 months. The Government is only seeking a two to five page response at this time. The information which must be included in your response includes: (a) Name and address of company; (b) Point of contact; (c) evidence of CCR registration. In addition to the general information, interested offerors must provide the following specific information: (a) Provide a list of no more than three projects awarded to your company that were completed in the last five years for projects of similar size, scope, and complexity and provide a brief description of each project. If you do not have such experience, list experience which you feel is directly relevant and explain in no more than one paragraph per project why it should be considered. (b) The projects identified should have a contract value of at least $20 million. Identify the dollar value and explain in no more than one paragraph why we should consider it if it is less than $20 million. (c) For the projects identified above, provide the percentage, by dollar amount, performed as the prime contractor. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. However, NAVFAC EURAFSWA will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. All proprietary information not to be disseminated in Government documents must be clearly identified. Since this is a sources sought announcement only, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the participants. Your response to this sources sought announcement must be received by 4:00 pm on 11 July 2010 and must be received electronically.
