Description
The Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) intends to issue multiple small purchase orders to Petroleum Analyzer Company (PAC), L.P. for three (3) separate laboratory testing equipment units. PAC is the only vendor able to meet DESC's delivery, installation timeframe prior to the end of August 2010 and lab testing requirement capabilities. The equipment will be used for testing on commercial grade and military specification (MILSPEC) type fuels. Below are the product descriptions for each unit: 1) Automated Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Tester (JFTOT) III with Video Tube Deposit Rator (VTDR) with software and computer interface, 230 Volts and standardized lab testing procedures method ASTM D 3241. 2) Automated Distillation Analyzer, OptiDist, 230 Volts, equipment automates the distillation analysis of two (2) categories: Petroleum products via standardized lab testing ASTM method D 86 and Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) ASTM D 1078. 3) Automated Micro-Carbon Residue Tester Modell 160/Ash Testing, OptiDist, 230 Volts, supports standardized combination capability for lab testing procedures ASTM D 4530 and ASTM D 482. DESC invites expressions of interest from other potential offerors. Any firm interested in consideration must identify, in writing, its ability to meet the above mentioned delivery, installation timeframe and requirements capabilities.
