- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release a draft request for proposal W91CRB-10-R-0061 on or about June 30 2010, the RFP on or about October 1, 2010 for procurement of Small Tactical Optical Rifle Mounted micro Laser Range Finder (STORM) and associated spare parts. This acquisition will be unrestricted and will result in two Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts with firm fixed priced delivery orders for a total of five years. Sample hardware will be required to support proposal submission. The anticipated minimum guarantee will be 6082 units and the contract-maximum will be 28960 units. Award will be based on the best overall value to the Government. This is not a request for proposal and neither a proposal nor sample hardware are required at this time.
