- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a non-competitive or "bridge contract" to Flatirons Solutions, Inc. of Vienna, Virginia to continue systems engineering support to Traffic Flow Management (TFM) programs until the follow-on Architectural and Systems Engineering Support Services (ASESS) competitive acquisition is completed. The FAA's current contract with Flatirons to provide such systems engineering support to TFM programs, DTFAWA-07-C-00030 will expire on June 30, 2010. An award in the ASESS acquisition is not expected until September 2, 2010. This proposed bridge contract will continue the current scope and level of effort under Flatiron's current contract until award of ASESS, and provide for sufficient transition time in the event of award to a new vendor. The period of performance for the proposed bridge contract is July 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010, with two 1-month options as necessary.
