- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the provision of Clinical Laboratory Testing Services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Sheridan, located in Sheridan, Oregon. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single contract that shall consist of a 12 month base period, and the possibility of four 12 month option periods. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government The estimated quantities for the base period and each of the possible option periods is 3000 tests. The solicitation will be available on or about June 24, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 28, 2010. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 621511 with a size standard of 13.5 million. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
