- The West Palm Beach Medical Center located at 7305 N Military Trail West Palm Beach, FL 33410, intends to issue a Request For Quote (RFQ) to procure delivery services of milk, dairy and ice cream products. Type of contract: requirements Firm Fixed Price. This procurement is being solicited as UNRESTRICTED; the applicable NAICS code is 311511. Nutrition &Food Service and Veterans Canteen Service have a requirement for milk and dairy products. Period of performance is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. All work shall be performed in accordance with the statement of work in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that if timely received, will be considered. Offerors are to be advised that an award may be made without discussion or any contact concerning the proposal received. However, the Government reserves the right to enter into discussion if deemed necessary, and if discussions are conducted, the Offerors within the competitive range will be afforded the opportunity to revise their proposal. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about June 28, 2010 with a closing date on or about July 21, 2010. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Proposals are to be mailed in, the contractor must ensure that we receive the proposal on time confirming by e-mail. Telephone or Fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted or honored. Offerors are responsible to submit all documentation requested and completely fill out the solicitation. Incomplete solicitations will not be considered for evaluation.
