- Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a contract to Schenck Trebel Corp under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(2) for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, supplies, materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), hearing and eye protection, including prescription safety glasses, lifting equipment and devices, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK to perform Preventive and Remedial Maintenance (PM/RM) on five (5) Schenck Trebel Balance Machines. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Equipment is listed at Appendix A. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. The proposed basic period of performance is 1 Oct 2010 - 30 Sep 2011. The estimated award date is 16 July 2010. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 with a size standard of 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government does not own the data rights or the processes for repair of these machines. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
