- Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) is awarding a Purchase Order for the repair services of the following equipment: 20 each Switch, Beam Steering Unit; DMT PN: R1-123B001, ASN: J500-2A2S1 to Ducommun Technologies, Inc. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, Ducommun Technologies, Inc., Market research is the following: Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search failed to identify any additional small business available to compete for this required repair service. Search parameters included key words: ‘repair beam steering'; and ‘repair switch, beam steering' which did not identify any small businesses available to compete for this requirement. I also completed a search on GSA eLibrary with the key words of ‘repair switch, beam steering unit' and repair beam steering unit' which did not identify any small businesses available to compete for this requirement. A sources sought was posted on FedBizOpps on March 31, 2010 for a 12 day posting and no responses were received.
