- Description
- The Yampa Ranger District Painting Project includes but is not limited to: power washing, cleaning, scraping, chipping to remove all loose materials; sanding to smooth out the remaining material, filling in all cracks and holes; and priming and painting of all already existing painted surfacing, including siding, trim, fascia, soffit, shutters, railings, gable ends, doors and windows, concrete foundations, metal gutters and downspouts, porches, wood handrails, and all incidentals. This includes proper cleaning of all surfaces in accordance with Federal and State standards and regulations applicable to lead paint abatement for loose or chipped paint. All services will be accomplished by use of Contractor furnished and Contractor operated equipment. The allotted time for this contract is sixty (60) days from the notice to proceed. All work shall be performed on the Yampa Ranger District, Routt County, of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for June 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Details of this meeting will be included in the solicitation. All participants must RSVP by June 21, 2010 by contacting Malinda (Mindy) Horitski at 307-745-2429. This is a total small business set aside. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around June11, 2010. The anticipated due date for issuance of solicitations is on or around July 2 2010. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Malinda (Mindy) Horitski at mrhoritski@fs.fed.us or via facsimilie to 307-745-2398. All Offerors shall be registered to the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204-8 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet these three criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
