- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS FOR INDUSTRY COMMENT ONLY. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Polk Louisiana is seeking industry feedback and comments on the DRAFT Solicitation for Installation Custodial Services. The possible award would be a single award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items. The contract will have a 1 year base period of performance and 1-one year option period. The Governments intention is to have task orders for scheduled cleaning services issued monthly for one of the 3 levels of service (Red, Amber, or Green ) for each Service Support Program (SSP). The level of service may change monthly throughout the contract performance period for each SSP. SSPs are defined as such: SSP A are buildings which shall receive standard level of service, SSP B are buildings which shall receive a customer driven level of service and SSP C are buildings which shall receive a clinical level of service. The Government is seeking feedback and comments on the Solicitation to include the following areas: 1. Opinion on the practicality of the potential requirement; "Specifically related to the three (3) different levels of service (Green, Amber, Red) - See previous paragraph "Specifics on how it will affect your pricing structure. "Invite your attention to Appendix F of the PWS to provide comments 2. The structure and clarity of the PWS and TEs; 3. Other information needed to better price; Industry is also invited to provide any other comments or suggestions that industry feels will be beneficial to the Schedules of Values, PWS, TEs and the overall clarity of the documents. The Government does not intend to pay for the information provided. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to procure services and does not restrict the Government regarding the ultimate acquisition approach which may be taken in the future. THIS IS ONLY A DRAFT SOLICITATION. No official solicitation document exists at this time. Should an official solicitation be posted, the number may or may not be the same as this draft. The Government will not provide responses to industry relating to information provided. The submission of this information is for Planning Purposes Only. Respondents should email their feedback and comments to the MICC-DOC Fort Polk Contracting email address: polk.contracting@us.army.mil. Responses shall be limited to 25 pages in length and Arial 12 font. Response date is not later than 4:00PM (CST), June 28, 2010. The Government will accept responses after this date but it would be beneficial to the overall process to have the comments before 28 June 2010. NO questions (by phone or email) will be entertained involving this industry comment because the Government does not want to guide or shape industry comments.
