- RECOVER - TAS:: 14 2302 ::TAS Project H52A0600 & H52A0700 MODIFICATION TO PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THIS PROJECT IS TO ANNOUNCE AVAILABILITY OF SOLICITATION PACKAGE AND DRAWINGS FROM FBO WEBSITE, AND TO REITERATE INFORMATION FROM INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. RECOVERY ACT PROJECT - The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, intends to award a firm-fixed-price Highway Road Construction project. The Offeror shall furnish all labor, supplies, material, equipment, personnel and supervision to complete construction activities for hot asphalt concrete pavement overlay and pavement markings for 4.300 miles on BIA Routes 42 and 46, located on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, Navajo County, Arizona. The BIA-WRO, requires a firm-fixed-price construction contract, and the procurement method is Negotiated Procedures using FAR Parts 15 and 36. This project will utilize Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-03), except where otherwise indicated in the solicitation. THE FP-03, STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, IS AVAILABLE AT WEBSITE: http://flh.fhwa.dot.gov. Click on "Resources," then "PS&E Preparation." THE SOLICITATION IS "SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE." The estimated dollar range of this procurement is $500,000 to $1,000,000. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 120 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Offerors are expected and responsible to inspect and verify the site conditions where the work is to be performed. This project is classified under NAICS Code 237310, and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, Public Law 111-5; therefore, Offeror shall comply with all ARRA statutes and applicable laws, regulations, clauses and provisions, policies, and procedures, including, but not limited to, meeting the requirements of Sec. 1512 of the ARRA and other accountability and transparency conditions. The anticipated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) RA001110074 is O/A JUNE 11, 2010. Anticipated due date for submittal of proposals is JULY 12, 2010. Interested firms are requested to submit a WRITTEN REQUEST for the RFP package to DORIS HYEOMA, via email: doris.hyeoma@bia.gov or FAX request to 602-379-6763.
