RECOVERY ACT - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A TASK ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT (BPA). (DOLJ061A2035). THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO MATHEMATICA POLICY RESEARCH, INC. UNDER BPA DOLJ061A2035. THE AMOUNT AWARDED IS $175,00.00. AND THESE FUNDS ARE PROVIDED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). This is an evaluation of youth activities for the Indian and Native American (INA) populations in 2009 and 2010, operated with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) funds, including summer initiatives.. The evaluation will comprise qualitative and quantitative analysis of youth activities implemented in INA areas. The study will be based on a selected sample of Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) Section 166 INA grantees utilizing Recovery Act funds for youth activities. The implementation study will employ various data collection methods, such as telephone interviews, site visits, and focus groups, as necessary. The quantitative analysis will utilize data from monthly reports of aggregate information submitted to the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and participant-level data from sites’ local Management Information Systems (MIS), if applicable. The outcomes to be reported will relate to a work readiness performance indicator and a summer work experience completion rate.
