- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District is hosting an information meeting to help increase contractor participation for our upcoming Israel construction projects. Our intent is to give a brief overview of the upcoming program and answer any questions you may have about participating in U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales projects in Israel. In addition, this forum is intended to provide U.S. contractors an opportunity to meet Israeli construction contractors in order to form potential prime/subcontractor partnerships. We will be inviting local construction firms to this event and intend to distribute a list of all meeting attendees to the participants. A pre-proposal conference for the Israel MATOC Solicitation will be held 28 June 2010 at 09:00 AM at the Hilton Hotel located on Independence Park, Tel Aviv, 63405 Israel and a special forum session will follow at approximately 11:00 AM at the same location. Please email a list to include name, firm, telephone number and email address for any personnel planning to attend the pre-proposal conference and the information meeting to Ms. Barbara Byam at Barbara.V.Byam@usace.army.mil and Ms. Marilyn Jackson at Marilyn.jackson@usace.army.mil no later than 16 Jun 2010. Please note that we are not endorsing any of the firms that attend the information meeting. We are merely setting up a forum to facilitate. It is very likely that we have no experience working with any of the firms that attend this session.
