- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply CenterJacksonville,(FISCJ), intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract forlabor to conduct logistic, phase and special inspections, "O" levelmaintenance, Line Division, Corrosion Control, Tool Room, CentralPublication Librarian support, and Maintenance Administration support toHELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE SQUADRON FOUR-ZERO (HSM-40) H-60 aircraft at NSMayport, Florida utilizing procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition ofCommercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 15, Contracting byNegotiation. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year with fourone-year option periods. The anticipated award date is on or about 01February 2011. The requirement will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. TheNAICS code applicable to this procurement is 488190. The size standard is$7.0M. The RFQ, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendmentsissued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Onceavailable, the RFQ will be posted to this site (Navy Electronic CommerceOnline or NECO). The RFQ will be available on or about 16 August 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by theGovernment. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying thatneither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currentlysuspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from anyFederal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer.The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or writtendiscussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytimeprior to award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges therequirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CentralContractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance,and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFQ. Lack ofregistration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible foraward.
