- FA8620-05-G-3028 0090, MQ-1 Predator/MQ9 Reaper Urgent Support: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Predator Systems Group (703 AESG) intends to award a new delivery order on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for expedited contractor support that is mandatory to meet urgent operational requirements. General Atomics ASI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Predator and Reaper systems, ad is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform this effort. The government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. For subcontracting opportunities, interested parties may submit appropriate information to Paula Hodgetts at 858-312-3615, or paula.hodgetts@gat.com at General Atomics ASI. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 561990. Please indicate number of employees relative to the size standard of 750 for determination of small business status.
