- Description
- The Defense Distribution Center New Cumberland intends to issue Solicitation SP3300-10-R-0034 to Lakota Solutions, LLC, 213 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093-3403 for all labor, equipment, tools, materials, replacement parts, and supervision necessary to perform Preventive (scheduled) and Remedial Maintenance (unscheduled) on Government owned equipment located at the Defense Distribution Depot Warner Robins (DDWG). Equipment includes material handling equipment (MHE), battery chargers, motor vehicles (wheeled or tracked), off highway utility vehicles, semi and warehouse trailers, and warehouse sweepers. This contract will support DDWG and DSCR. The period of performance is September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011 with two one-year options. Lakota Solutions, LLC is currently providing these services to DDWG under SP3300-10-P-0328 which expires August 31, 2010. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Government intends to award a sole-source fixed price/time and materials contract for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-5(b)(5) Sole Source Awards under HUBZone Act of 1997-15 U.S.C. 657a. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
