- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Procurement Office: Mission & Installation Command Contracting Center, Fort Knox, Bldg 1109B, STE 250, 199 6th Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121 Response Date: June 10, 4PM: EDT The Mission & Installation Command Contracting Center (MICC) intends to award on a sole-sourced basis a contract to the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) located at 101 West College Blvd, Roswell, NM to allow for the training of 145 cadets/20cadre during the period 14-18 June. Facility must be able to provide lodging for approximately 145 cadets and 20 cadre, training facilities, certifed instructors and equipment during the training event. Training includes drown proofing, ropes course and leadership reaction course. Market research has demonstrated that the NMMI is the single facility that can meet the governments requirement for the required dates and proximity to El Paso, TX. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the MICCs requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by June 10 by 4pm EST. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to mary.halterman@us.army.mil by 4pm local time, Fort Knox, Kentucky (EST) on June 10, 2010. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at www.ccr.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR part 4.11.
