- ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required provide and install 76 listening stations along 6 miles of domestic water line, and a final survey and map of installation locations as show and described within these specifications. The new stations shall replace existing stations that have been damaged or lost since original installation in 1993. The listening stations are to be installed on the existing water system throughout the U.S. coast Guard's Base Support Unit (BSU), Kodiak, Alaska, in accordance with the Scope of Work. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest price technically accepted as well as Past Performance. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: Listed in Statement of Work with Solicitation Package, Digital copies of local survey control data and water system drawings are available upon request. Performance Period is 45-60 days. Work to be performed Jul 15 - Sep 15, 2010. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY JUNE 03, 2010. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD JUNE 29, 2010, APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Base Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE IS $50,000 - $100,000.
